CALL FOR PAPERS
General information
The 10th International Conference on
Computer-Aided Design and Computer Graphics (CAD/Graphics 2007) will be
held in Beijing
on October 15-18, 2007. It is organized by the School
of Electronics Engineering and
Computer Science, Peking
University .
CAD/Graphics is a serial international
conference on CAD&CG held biyearly in China every odd year. The
conference provides an international forum for the dissemination of
state-of-the-art research, development, and implementations of CAD/Graphics
systems, technologies and applications.
A number of awards will be presented to the Best Papers and Best Student
Papers at the conference. Participation for
special sessions and tutorial proposals are encouraged.

Conference topics
The conference welcomes original work in
theory and applications of computer-aided design, computer graphics and
interactive techniques, and related disciplines. Topics include though not
limited to:
-Computer Graphics techniques, systems and
hardware
-CAD techniques, systems
-Computer animation
-Visualization
-Image based modeling and rendering,
computer vision
-CAD data bases, data exchange and standards
-Virtual reality, haptic systems, computer
human interface
-Collaborative, conceptual and feature based
design;
-Numerical control algorithms, rapid
prototyping
-FEA, AI in design
-VLSI Design and EDA
-Multimedia
-Computer graphics and CAD in Arts,
Education, Engineering, Entertainment, biology and medicine, jewelry and
handicraft, garment and fashion etc.
Paper submission information
All submissions should be in Adobe Acrobat
(.pdf) or MS Word (.doc) in the format of IEEE CS proceedings. Each paper
will be peer-reviewed by at least three international scholars. All
accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings
(ISTP, EI for part of papers, and EI for all papers is
pending).
About EI index for IEEE proceedings, the following
information may help for you:
According to experiences from IEEE Beijing
section in these years, all papers of IEEE proceedings will be indexed by
EI after about one year while IEEE copyright be released.
Republication in journals
Papers of outstanding quality that have been
presented at CAD/Graphics 07 will be selected for publication as special
issues in international journals, including The Visual Computer (SCI), Computers & Graphics (SCI),
Journal of Computer Science and Technology (SCI) and Journal of
Software (EI).
